Elf Hat

10 Nov

Elf hat made for a friend of mine who’s a storyteller. To go with last year’s pixie boots! This pattern is by Kirstie McLeod, and I got it off Ravelry. Aran wool, knitted on 5mm needles in the round.

Butterfly prayer shawl

5 Jun

Another prayer shawl made for a friend of mine. Double-knitting wool, size 5mm needles. It reminds me of a butterfly, for some reason.

I started this in February, but what with a new house and a new job, life suddenly got busy 🙂

sloppy hat fuzzed

Slouchy hat – yet another Christmas present. Getting there. Pattern from Let’s Knit Magazine. DK knit wool. Using a lot of slip stitch for the patterning, which I’ve discovered is rather boring!

Bright socks for a Christmas present. Double-knit wool, knitted in the round on 3.75mm needles.  Knitted to match a pair I made for teddy-bear earlier this summer!

lace topped socks

Lace topped socks. Made with double-knitting yarn on double-pointed needles. Using my own pattern, which you can find here. There is a ribbed section under the lace which means they stay up. These are for UK size adult women’s size 5.
